Every photo session I’m lucky enough to be a part of is special—but this one hits a little differently. Recently, my sister-in-law and brother-in-law welcomed a beautiful baby boy into the world, and they asked me to help capture this sweet, fleeting season of life in the comfort of their home. As a DFW family photographer, it was an honor—but as an uncle, it was pure joy.

There’s something so intimate and authentic about an in-home family session. No rushed schedules or chilly studio lights—just cozy snuggles, natural light, and real-life moments. It was extra meaningful to me to be behind the camera, capturing my nephew’s tiny fingers, his sleepy expressions, and all the love wrapped around him. These are the kinds of images I know they’ll treasure forever—because I will too.
